Can I exchange my pass for a different type?Updated 3 months ago
No. We are unable to exchange a Resident pass for a Non-Resident pass, or for a digital pass. These are different products administered by the federal agencies.
If You Purchased the Wrong Pass Type
If your pass is unsigned and within 60 days of purchase, you can return it for a refund and then purchase the correct pass type. Email [email protected] with your order number to start the return.
Resident vs. Non-Resident
- Resident Annual Pass ($80): Requires valid U.S. government-issued ID (state/territory license or ID card, Green Card, or U.S. Passport Book/Card)
- Non-Resident Annual Pass ($250): Same access, no ID requirement beyond photo ID for matching to the pass signature
Digital Passes
Digital passes are being rolled out via Recreation.gov. US Park Pass currently sells the physical card version only. We cannot exchange a physical pass for a digital one.
